A special spit roast

The speciality of Agriturismo la Pila and the entire foothill area of the province of Treviso is spit-roast meat. Unfailingly accompanied by typical vegetables, such as cooked herbs, beans, wild radicchio and roast potatoes, spit-roast meat should be served piping hot and tender. The result of centuries-old recipes and one of the territory’s oldest cooking methods, spit-roast meat is the feather in our cap. In 2016 the Pieve di Soligo Association of Masters of the Spit Roast rewarded me for my passion and ability to prepare a spit roast worthy of a ‘Master of the Spit Roast’.
