Our menu

I am Luca and since 2017 have had the good fortune to run the kitchen of Agriturismo La Pila. Here the vegetables picked every day from our garden are transformed and presented to you in different dishes that merge tradition with imagination. The same applies to our meat, selected and prepared with great care. Deeply rooted in the teachings of the past, we bring out the best in many innovative recipes that still remind us of home cooking.

Luca

Starters

  • Assortment of home-made cured meats and cheeses from Fattoria Curto, served with chutney and pickled vegetables and polenta sticks

  • Savoury eggplant pie, burrata cream, crispy bread with tomato and basil infused oil.

  • Our beef steak tartare, Casatella cheese foam, pickled courgette with lemon and mint flavour, cherry tomato confit and corn breadsticks.

  • Thinly sliced suckling pig, pickled eggplant with chilly pepper and oregano.

  • Gratinated bigné filled with vegetables and goat’s ricotta cheese

First course

  • Egg maccheroncini with beef ragù.

  • Crespelle filled with vegetables and a Morlacco cheese fondue.

  • Tagliatelle with white ragù, courgette and cherry tomatoes.

  • Gnocchi with ricotta, courgette pesto and an almond and Grana cheese crumble.

Second Course

  • Spiedo (mixed meat skewer: chicken, pork rib and pork meat) with polenta

    (available Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon).
  • Mixed grilled meats (Pork rib, pork sausage, chicken wing) with polenta

    (Available for dinner: Friday and Sunday - for lunch: Saturday)
  • Chicken stew with polenta.

  • Sliced beef steak

  • Costata steak.

  • Oven baked potato croquettes, seasonal vegetables, and a cheese and pepper sauce

  • Slow-cooked roast-beef with vegetables.

Beer

  • PERALBA

    Pilsner-type beer, light bodied, featuring a nice herbaceous aftertaste and pleasantly bitter end taste. Fine persistent froth.
    Alcohol 5% vol – 0.5 litres
  • ISOLAROSSA

    Amber Ale type red beer, deep red colour with fine, persistent froth. Distinguished by hints of caramel and a pleasant bitter aftertaste.
    Alcohol 6.5% vol – 0.5 litres
